Funny Sam!

Sam loves to entertain us and make us laugh. This was his own invention, not something he copied from others! He is not only funny, but smart.

Sam Sings!

After dinner tonight, we sang "Itsy Bitsy Spider" to Sam while he did the hand motions. When we asked him to sing, he did his own version of the song! What a riot! We love that smart little man.

The deed is done.

I finally cut Sam's hair. It went from being adorable Who-hair to being unruly and floppy...and when a lady in the doctor's office pointed to Sam and asked how old my little girl was, I knew it was time. He's still as darling as ever, but now he looks much more toddler than baby. Made me kinda sad.

Abby's Concert!

We had a pleasant surprise this week from Abigail. Her end-of-the-year concert was on Wednesday, in which she was to play her recorder with the other third graders. However, because she had been doing so well in her violin practices, her teacher, Julia Harmon, let her play with the 4th grade string group as well! Abigail did fantastically, she really sounded wonderful. The concert was lots of fun. Best of all, since it was this week just before Michael's baptism, my parents were here to hear Abby play! It was a great day.
Here's a video of her playing: Abigail's Concert.

Featured! :D

You may have noticed the new Etsy installment on the left side of this blog, or you may have been spammed by me about my Etsy shop on Facebook. If you haven't been bombarded with ads for my new Etsy shop yet, well....consider it done!! I have begun to put my handmade artwork up on Etsy. I'm sure lots of you have gotten my jewelry or notecards for Christmas or birthdays, but after all that practice, my work has improved and I'm ready to sell!

Most awesome of all, a very kind lady contacted me about featuring one of my product lines on her blog. Erin Schuler of  The Schuler Family Blog did a photoshoot of my jeweled bookmarks and posted the feature here:

So awesome! Her blog is beautiful too, she's got lots of lovely photos and past posts about other terrific artists.  Best of all, she's giving one of my bookmarks away, so head over and follow her instructions, comment on her blog so you can get your entry in to win this:
